Is henna safe for children?
Natural henna is plant-based, and only natural paste is used. Ask for a patch test if your child's skin is sensitive. Anyone with G6PD deficiency should not use henna.
How much is kids henna?
R50 a side for children under 12. A side is one side of the hand, either the palm or the back.
Why is the henna orange at first?
Fresh natural henna is bright orange when the paste comes off. It deepens to a rich brown over 24 to 48 hours.
How do we make it last?
Keep it away from water for 12 to 24 hours, put a little balm or coconut oil on before bath time, and skip scrubs, pools and sanitiser.
